CALL FOR PRESENTATIONS
Attention: students and faculty are welcome to submit proposals for ISCFS 2022

We are seeking presentations that discuss:

1. People competing for stability.

Self-awareness: understanding your goals, values and career prospects.

Individual achievement: recognizing your abilities and accomplishing goals.

Managing stress and embracing change.
-
Moving towards stability within a local community: habits, mentality, way of life.
-
Mentoring in a VUCA world (VUCA – Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity and Ambiguity)
2. Competition in modern organizations:

Organizational communications: managing uncertainty and strategizing for sustainability.

Organizational efficiency and sustainability: lean operations and excellence in safety (protective equipment, processes and technologies for human health and safety)

Environmentalism inside an organization: managing pollution, water conservation, sustainable energy, waste recycling, etc.
3. Uncertainty, risk and responsibility in education: towards sustainable practices.
Types of participation at the conference

We are happy to announce that this year we are inviting faculty to submit a 100-word proposal for a 40-minute Zoom webinar for students and/or for faculty. Please submit proposals by March 6th to conf-samgtu@bk.ru.

Full Paper Submission Deadline (if publication in the journal is preferred): May 20, 2022
All Power Point Presentations will be reviewed by a board of international faculty. Invitations for an oral presentation in Zoom will be sent in case of a positive decision not later than April 8, 2022.
Zoom presentation format:
Students prepare reports and PowerPoint presentations within the scope of the conference theme. The speech should be based on students’ own creative ideas and/or research. It should have a distinctive structure including introduction, main body and conclusion. Presentations can be made either individually or in the groups of 2-3 students.
Language: English.
Timing: 6-8 minutes.
Prerecorded Video presentation format:
Students prepare creative videos to disclose their vision of the conference theme. The video can be taken either in formal or informal settings. It can be made individually or in the groups of 2-3 students. All video files will be presented via YouTube channels, where they will be discussed and assessed.
Language: English.
Timing: 4 minutes.
Presentations that earned the most points upon review by the faculty board will be honored with I, II, III place awards. All members of the conference will get Certificates of Participation. The presentations will be assessed by a board of faculty and global leaders from Russia, the USA, Canada and Great Britain.
The proceedings of “Competitive Advantage in the World of Uncertainty: Moving towards a Sustainable and Stable Future” will be issued in December 2022 in the journal “Vestnik of Samara State Technical University. The Series: Psychology and Pedagogics”, which will be available electronically. The journal is included in the list of peer-reviewed scientific publications (http://vak.ed.gov.ru) and is indexed in the national information-analytical system RISC.
Scientific mentors of all participants are invited to publish their research on the topic in the proceedings of the conference, both individually and with their students. The suggested length of the paper is 8-15 pages. Languages of publication: English, Russian. Author Guidelines will be sent to you immediately after registration.
No fees are charged for participation or publication.
